Aston Villa were delighted to confirm that Katie Scott signed her first professional contract with the club in October on her 17th birthday.

In signing on the dotted line, the defender becomes the youngest-ever female academy graduate to secure a senior deal at Villa.

Scott made her senior debut against Barclays Women’s Super League champions Manchester City earlier the same month, also featuring in the matchday squads for our trips to Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Scott has also gained international experience through the England youth ranks in recent years, captaining the Young Lionesses at the U17 Women’s Euros this past summer.
