Aston Villa is once again proud to show the club's strong support for No Room For Racism.
Every Premier League fixture between October 17-25 is dedicated to the No Room For Racism initiative, reiterating the ongoing commitment to tackle discrimination and promote equality, diversity and inclusion across all areas of our game.
All 20 top-flight clubs and the Premier League have come together this October to support a new film which celebrates football's diversity and highlights the impact racism continues to have on players, families and communities.
Players have also contributed to No Room For Racism education resources, which are delivered through Premier League Primary Stars and are available to more than 19,000 primary schools across England and Wales.
Aston Villa will proudly display its support for No Room For Racism at Saturday's Premier League fixture against Manchester City at Villa Park, with players taking the knee before kick-off to show unity against all forms of discrimination and messaging throughout the stadium as well as online.
Everybody has a role to play to ensure football is inclusive for all. Together we can make it clear there is no room for racism or any form of discrimination, communicating the message that committing abuse has consequences.
We can all play a role in reporting racist abuse. If you see it, challenge it and report it. To find out more, click here.
October’s No Room For Racism fixtures fall within the UK’s Black History Month, the theme of which is ‘Honouring Our Communities’.
Diversity is one of football's greatest strengths, bringing people together from different communities, cultures and backgrounds across the world – with players from 128 nations having played in the Premier League since it formed.
Clubs and the Premier League will take action against anybody identified as committing discriminatory abuse, whether in-person or online. Punishments include custodial sentences, football banning orders, fines, community orders or police-mandated educational programmes.
We urge anyone who witnesses racist abuse to report it – either online or inside the stadium.
The league’s specialist investigative team continues to support players, their families and others working within football who are subjected to racism. A reporting system has been made available to clubs, and fans can also report any racist abuse they see directed at players or others within the game at www.premierleague.com/reportracism.

If you witness discriminatory behaviour at a match or around a stadium, please report it to the police or a steward.
