Aston Villa have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League season.

Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.

It would be fair to say that Nicolas Jackson (£6.6m) has been catching the eye for Aston Villa recently.

The Senegal international has scored in each of the last two Gameweeks, amassing 15 points against Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford.

In that time, he’s FPL’s leading shot-taker among forwards, with 10.

In a superb all-round display, Jackson also netted a brace of goals in Wednesday’s 6-0 win over Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Champions League.

The Villans’ upcoming fixtures make the situation even more interesting.

After playing Newcastle United (a) and Manchester City (h), we have games against Fulham (h), Manchester United (a), Sunderland (h), Ipswich Town (a), Everton (h), Crystal Palace (h) and Coventry City (a).

It suggests Jackson could be a dependable set-and-forget option, right through until the end of the year.

Certainly, with an ownership of just 2.8%, for FPL managers looking to make gains without simply following the most popular picks, Jackson fits the bill.

Monday’s 4-1 defeat to Coventry City leaves Newcastle with eight points from six matches, having won two, drawn two and lost two. With 13 goals conceded, their defensive record is the joint-worst in the Premier League with Chelsea and Bournemouth.
